Dr. Nika Padyab
Dr. Padyab's journey to dentistry began after she moved to Arizona in 2004, where she attended middle school and high school in Chandler. She was first drawn to the profession by the warm, inviting atmosphere of her family dentist's office. These visits never felt clinical—they were more like gathering with friends. Seeing a team that truly loved caring for patients inspired her to volunteer at a non-profit dental clinic and explore the field firsthand.
During her volunteer work, Dr. Padyab had an eye-opening realization: oral health is critically important yet often overlooked. She discovered how our teeth impact everything from our ability to speak and smile to our overall confidence and wellbeing. This powerful insight transformed her interest into a true calling.
After earning her Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University, Dr. Padyab completed her Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University, where her thesis examined bacterial metal homeostasis and antibiotic resistance. She then achieved her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, building the expertise that defines her practice today.
Dr. Padyab founded Vibrant Smiles with a clear mission: to provide every patient with exceptional, personalized care. She is committed to helping patients achieve beautiful, confident smiles in a comfortable, welcoming environment. She cherishes the relationships she builds and is dedicated to making every visit a positive experience.
Beyond her private practice, Dr. Padyab shares her expertise as an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern University's dental simulation clinic, mentoring the next generation of dental professionals. She proudly serves on the College of Dental Medicine Arizona's alumni council and continuously enhances her skills through Spear Education programs.

The Invisalign Treatment Process
Consultation & Exam
During your first visit, your doctor will take a look at your bite and smile to determine if Invisalign is the right option for you. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have about your smile, Invisalign, or other treatment options.
Aligner Pick Up
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Invisalign trays fit perfectly. When your aligners arrive at our office, you’ll come and pick them up to begin your treatment.
Check-ins
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Every six weeks or so, you’ll come back to our office to pick up your next few sets of aligners. Every treatment plan is different, so this amount of time may vary based on your needs. These check-ins are essential to ensure your treatment is on track and that your Invisalign trays are fitting properly.

Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry
